This course will introduce you to:
· History and philosophy of Aikido Kokikai
· Dojo etiquette
· Basic ki exercises and principles
· Basic ukemi (falls)
· Basic techniques
· A demonstration of Aikido Kokikai
At the conclusion of the course you will be well prepared to join in regular Aikido training if you wish. Please wear loose clothing, including athletic, yoga or sweat pants that cover your knees. Shoes are never worn on the mat; you will be practicing in your bare feet.
