The Slave Experience and the Underground Railroad presented by Jerry Bennett: Wednesday, February 20 at 6:30 pm. Learn about the journey of a slave ship from England to West Africa, then towards the Americas. Registration is required.

A Listening Circle - Men and Women Becoming Allies for Each Other: Saturday, February 23 at 12:45 pm. The Circle process we will be using creates a confidentially safe, brave space for honest sharing and deep listening forboth men and women. All participants are urged to arrive at 12:45 pm. Groundhog Day Storytime: Ages 3-7 with caregiver. Saturday, February 2 at 11:15 am. Join us for stories and a craft celebrating Groundhog Day. No registration required.

Preschool Open House: Thursday, February 7 at 6:00 pm. Representatives of local preschools and day cares will be available to answer questions and provide information. No registration required.

Origami Story and Craft with Linda Oette: Grades 2-5. Tuesday, February 19 at 1:30 pm. Join Linda Oette, retired Irondequoit teacher and origami enthusiast, for a story and related origami project. Registration is required.

Hooping Storytime with Benjamin Berry: Ages 2-7. Benjamin Berry will share his love of hooping and the circus arts through stories and movement duringthis fun storytime. No registration required.

Kid's Book Club: Grades 3,4, and 5. Thursday, February 21 at 4:00 pm. If you love to read join us for our very first kid's book club. Stop by thelibrary to pick up a copy of this month's book, The House with a Clock in Its Walls by John Bellairs. Cozy fireplaces, wacky magic, chocolate chip cookies, and spine-tingling chills are the ingredients that went into making this book. Registration is required.
