Learn English as a Second Language: Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. Learn to speak, read, and write English better with the ESOL Associates. No registration required.

Turning 65 and Medicare with T65&Beyond: Saturday, July 6 at 10:30 am. Learn about Medicare at this educational seminar. No plan specific information will be discussed. Registration is required.

Iron Book Discussion Group - State of Wonder by Ann Patchett: Tuesday, July 9 at 7:00 pm and Thursday, July 11 at 3:00 pm. Books are available for a month-long checkout. No registration required.

Writers' Circle - Giving Voice to Your Writing with Elaine Cervantes: Wednesdays, July 10 and 24 at 6:00 pm. If you consistently find yourself drawn to the act and art of writing join in as we read and listen to one another's words. Please bring at leastone piece to share aloud with the group. The Circle meets every other week in July and August. Registration is required for each session.

Meet the iPhone with Daniel Jones: Monday, July 15 at 6:00 pm. In this seminar you'll learn about the basic features and benefits of the iPhone. Registration is required.

Introduction to ASL with Paula Wollenhaupt: Wednesdays, July 17 and 31 at 7:00 pm. A deaf volunteer offers individuals a language foundation in American Sign Language. Materials for practicing vocabulary and sentences will be available. Registration is required.

Intro to Facebook with Arthur Catalanello: Thursday, July 18 at 7:00 pm. Arthur Catalanello will demonstrate how to create an account, navigate the site, and interact with friends and businesses on Facebook. Registration is required.

Meet with a LayNY Health Insurance Navigator: Friday, July 19, 1:00-5:00 pm. An experienced LawNY Navigator can help you enroll in coverage through the New York State of Health Marketplace. **Please bring photo ID, proof of income in the form of the most recent 4 weeks worth of pay-stubs (if self employed, previous year's tax return), immigration or naturalization papers (if applicable), and social security numbers and birth dates of all familymembers.** Registration for a one hour appointment is required.

A Concert of Song and Dance from Around the World with Sagit Zilberman: Monday, July 22 at 7:00 pm. Jazz and world musician Sagit Zilberman will play a music from around the world. Audience members are encouraged to sing, dance, and participate withthe sounds and rhythms. No registration is required.

IPL Genealogy Group: Wednesday, July 24 at 7:00 pm. Join the expert team at the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society and learn how to power through your New York brick wall. This session was videotaped at the Roots Tech conference in February/March of this year. Registration is required.

Teen Escape Room: Ages 10-18. Monday, July 1 at 4:00 pm. The clock is ticking; you and your teammates only have a few minutes to find the clues, solve the puzzles, and unlock the box before it's too late. Join us each month for a different scenario.Registration is required.

Teen Writing Group: Ages 12-18. Friday, July 5 at 3:30 pm. Join us to write, share, edit, and laugh. Registration is required.

Dungeons & Dragons (&Donuts!): Ages 13-18. For new and experienced players, come join the most popular role playing game of all time. Registration is required.

Anime Club: Ages 13-18. Tuesday, July 9 at 4:00 pm. We'll use inspiration from famous manga and learn the basic designs of a cover. Some supplies will be provided or bring your own. Registration is required.

Teen Maker Club: Ages 10-18. Wednesdays in July, 2:00 OR 3:30 pm. Each week we'll have a hands-on activity in the Maker's Lab. Sign up for one, some, or all of the weeks. This week we will be making Perler creations. Registration is required.

Teen Advisory Board: Ages 12-18. Thursday, July 11 at 4:00 pm. Have a say in programs for teens, get your hands on the latest books, hang out with friends, eat snacks, and play games. Join our Teen Advisory Board. No registration required.

Books and Bites Book Group: Ages 10-18. Monday, July 22 at 3:00 pm. Join us for a discussion on graphic novels on manga. Registration is required.

Teen Trivia: Ages 10-18. Tuesday, July 23 at 3:00 pm. Register for a spot for Teen Trivia and compete against your friends to see who truly knows it all. There will be a prize for the winning team. Registration is required.

African Drumming and Stories with Mayukwa Kashiwa: All ages. Saturday, July 6 at 10:30 am. Celebrate the world with Mayukwa as he shares his knowledge of African drums and cultures. No registration required.

Kid's Book Club: 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Thursday, July 11 at 4:00 pm. Books, snacks, and activities. This month we're reading The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More, short stories by Roald Dahl. No registration required.

Baby Signing Time with Linda Schmackpfeffer: Ages 0-23 months. Friday, July 19 at 1:00 pm. We will use books, songs, and other playful activities to teach caregivers and tots simple ASL signs. No registration required.

Stories and Swords: Ages 4-12. Friday, July 26 at 11:00 am. Come be introduced to the best in children's literature featuring swords and get active with a foam sword. Registration is required.
