From Duke Ellington and Cole Porter to Hank Williams and The Cars, Charlie Hunter & Scott Amendola are all over the musical map. They've just recorded four EPs, each focused on one of the above artists. So when Hunter takes the stage tonight at Lovin' Cup along with his excellent drummer, Amendola, you can expect an eclectic mix of tunes. If a duo sounds too small to provide a full sonic experience, consider that, with his custom seven-string guitar, Hunter covers the bass, rhythm and lead, creating his own wall of sound.
