Nancy Kraus will lead a walking tour of Mount Hope Cemetery exploring the history and contributions of Rochester’s Jewish community over the last century. Nancy Kraus’ family has lived in Rochester for 115 years. Many of her relatives are buried in the Jewish sections of Mount Hope Cemetery. She heard stories about old Jewish Rochester during her childhood and maintains an interest in Jewish Rochester History. Nancy is a retired children’s librarian and currently teaches at Temple Sinai. The tour will start at the south entrance of the cemetery across from the Distillery Restaurant.
