Re: “'This isn't working'

One issue is not being addressed. The brain develops in the first three years of live. Many children in the city aren't given attention for being read to and other ways to develop the brain. It is difficult to catch up if they are not worked with to develop their brain at an early age.

Re: “Tensions, challenges rising on Rochester school board

Some key issues are not being addressed. Fathers not being in the home for many. A male role model (friend or uncle) would help boys who don't have fathers. What
they see around them (drugs, gangs etc)can influence boys especially. I taught suspended students for thirteen years and substituted in very school except one (from preschool to high school). I have seen teachers who were mean to the children (one called one stupid) etc.

Re: “Can City Hall help fix the school district?

Many children aren't raised properly at their early years. If a child isn't given brain focus before three years of age he or she would not be able to catch up. I have reliable information on this. I taught in the city School district and know there is little or no improvement. If anyone wants to contact me they can.

Re: “A North Clinton cleanup focus: heroin sales

I taught students who live in that area. Drugs were brought in by the CIA and this must changed. Many lives are impacted by this.
