It is impossible to have a situation, where 8 billion humans eat animals that are free range, sustainable, and killed "humanely". It would take 2 planet Earths to have enough free range. So it is completely irresponsible to suggest this as sustainable future for food. Most animals raise for food are slaughtered in a small fraction of their natural lives. This isn't humane. Killing someone, someone who wants to live...isn't humane. And finally, If you truly are interested in "Spreading the Love". Going Vegan and eating a plant based diet, is Love. It is healthy. It is sustainable. It is Humane.

Fossil fuels are only part of the problem. It has come to light that animal agriculture is one of the major causes of climate change. Pollution, mass suffering of the inhabitants of Earth, and global starvation. So on a individual level, the biggest dent would be to switch to a Vegan lifestyle. "Seeing Animals through Different Eyes," is a great idea. It is time to realize that enslaving these beautiful animals is cruelty. All these animals have done no crime, yet are sentenced to a life of incarceration. Lets look from the perspective of the animals eyes. The prison bars. It is time for humankind to be kind. Freedom is not just a right for humans, but a right for all.

I think we should close the Zoo and set a example to the world, That animals need to be free. The education for children should be one of animal sentience.

The heading was misleading. Many people are now leaving dead animals off our plates and look for restaurants who are offering Vegan dining options. The heading of this article starts with "Beyond burgers" with to us refers to a plant based burger company. And many restaurants are offering these delicious Vegan burgers now. I believe in a future where animals are not abused and killed. Look for these when you decide on your next burger. http://beyondmeat.com/products/view/beyond…
