KIDS | 'A Very Electric Christmas'

Lightwire Theater returns to Rochester for a third time, this year presenting its "A Very Electric Christmas," a holiday story told through unique artistry. In a darkened theater, electroluminescent characters come to life to tell the story of Max, a young bird who's blown off course while flying south with his family. He ends up in the North Pole, where he meets dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms, and other characters in Santa's workshop. Lightwire Theater was a semi-finalist on NBC's "America's Got Talent" and were winners of Tru TV's "Fake Off." The show is an hour with no intermission, and its suggested age range is 5 and up.

Lightwire Theater's "A Very Electric Christmas" takes place Saturday, November 24, 2 p.m., at Nazareth College's Callahan Theater, 4245 East Avenue. Tickets are $13-$20. 389-2170; naz.edu/arts-center.
