A very short lecture on creating compound words and sentences followed by mock menu planning for the opening of a restaurant. Students will then be led through creating mini healthy mini snack meals from their recipes and sharing the snacks together. This workshop taught by Master Educator Calvin Eaton will incorporate elementary literacy concepts, collaboration, fine motor practice, art and creativity. Advance registration required, open to first and second graders.
