Dr. Judy Massare, a SUNY Brockport specialist in Mesozoic ("Age of Dinosaurs") marine reptiles, will speak with slides on her recent research on confusing older specimens of ichthyosaurs in British collections. A British scientist named a recently identified ichthyosaur in her honor--Wahlisaurus massarae. This meeting of the Rochester Academy of Science Fossil Section in the Brighton Town Hall Downstairs Meeting Room is open to the public.
