Re: “Bike share has a health potential

Why not make the system payable by credit or debit cards? Many people on disability, Social Security and SSI do not have so-called smart phones. Being able to use a debit or credit card would broaden the population capable of using this resource but lack the funds or tech savvy for a smart phone.

Re: “Groups hope to revitalize Joseph's vacant lots

Perhaps Joseph Avenue and other such areas of our city could have been improved if SOOO much money hadn't been poured into the project of filling the Inner Loop. Such a waste!

Re: “Truth, lies, and politics: how smart are voters?

Whatever happened to truth in advertising and laws to protect us from slander? Is no one taken advantage of these? I have become a fact check junkie and am not afraid to tell people that they are speaking or posting falsehoods online. Americans are, in general, lazy when it comes to social media. They will post any ridiculous thing they see. It needs to stop. The people that spawn this false news in the first place need to be held accountable for their actions. If we let it happen without trying to correct the problem, we are all to blame.

Re: “Controversy can’t overshadow the food at I-Square

I-Square has become a great asset to the town of Irondequoit. I love being able to walk there in 5 minutes from my home. If only they could resolve the Irondequoit Mall issue....still wondering why Bill Reilich (Greece town supervisor) didn't stick his nose into THAT business! I-Square is thriving ..... the mall is dead & has been for years.
