I agree with the vote. I can understand the desire for reducing taxes but reducing services like police is fraught with problems. I grew up in brockport but have lived in New England, CT & NH most of my adult life. In the town we live in now Acworth, NH there are only state troopers who have to take of everything. We had some uncontrolled pit bulls down the street and the troopers had to take the owners to court. This seems to stretch policing too far. Troopers need to keep the state safe not taking care of what the town should do. The town has a population of 900 or so residents so taxes are high with so few people. It was a hoot voting in the NH primary this year.
