The January full moon is called the Wolf Moon because in days past the wolves could be heard howling at this time of the year. We do not have wolves to listen to but whooo knows what we might see or hear during a moon walk; owls, fox, deer or other creatures of the winter night. Even if we do not see any wildlife it will be an interesting way to observe the wetlands, woodlands and fields by the light of the Moon. Snowshoes will be available if needed.
