Mr. Dominic's at the Lake

A Rochester institution since 1976, Mr. Dominic’s at the Lake has a devoted following that makes the trek towards Charlotte for Italian-American favorites in a lively place that looks like something out of a Scorsese flick. You know the drill: clams, calamari, antipasto, pastas of different shapes with different toppings, plus such favorites as chicken cacciatore, veal saltimbocca, shrimp scampi, and haddock French on Fridays. Mr. Dominic’s also offers seldom-seen menu items like frogs’ legs and braciole. Lunch is a scaled-back version of dinner, with the inclusion of burgers and other sandwiches.
