MUSEUM | 'Sweet Creations' 

The George Eastman Museum's popular annual holiday exhibit, "Sweet Creations," returns this week, presenting a display of dozens of impressively designed and decorated gingerbread houses. —opens to the public. The display will be on view through December 12. This year's showcase features a creation by celebrity baker Kate Sullivan of the Chelsea, New York-based company Cake Power cake studio. Sullivan's cake and a select few others will remain on view through New Year's Day, and the public can bid on the rest to take home on December 12. Proceeds from the auction help support future restoration projects of George Eastman's estate.

"Sweet Creations" opens Friday, November 2, at the George Eastman Museum, 900 East Avenue). Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $5 for students and kids ages 5-17, and free to members and kids under 4. 327-4800; eastman.org.
