Ashley Gong, age 15, of Sandy Hook, CT is a junior at Newtown High School. Ashley was appointed as a National Student Poet by the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the nonprofit Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
