Native American Winter Games

When: Sat., Feb. 26, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 2022
Family-friendly experiences through a variety of traditional Seneca and Haudenosaunee winter activities, including the competitive game of snowsnake, racing small wooden snowboats, meeting sled dogs and watching a dog sled demonstration, and maple sugar demonstrations. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own snowshoes to walk the Ganondagan trails.

Inside the Seneca Art & Culture Center, visitors can experience winter storytelling, traditional Seneca games, wampum and deer learning stations, children’s activities, brought to you by WXXI Kids, and Indigenous food for purchase. Plus free admission to the exhibit gallery and Iroquois Creation Story film. Details here.
