Re: “Aunt Rosie's

We've eaten at Aunt Rosie's tens of times , and, as Chris Lindstrom, have only superlative comments. Rochester has a disproportionately large group of fine chefs. Your choice can be of the moment or of your pallet. Either way, Paul Vroman has to make the list of Rochester's very best. We loved Paul's cooking when he was in his partner's kitchen, Tony Gullace, Max of Eastman Place. In his own digs Paul steps even higher.

Re: “DINING REVIEW: Osteria Rocco

Since first eating at Rocco shortly after the restaurant opened, we've returned time-after-time, never leaving disappointed and, nearly always, glad to have visited and eager to return. The exceptions have been when there have been too many guests or some are overly exuberant, perhaps because of the fare. Or, maybe it was Sly's libations.

Re: “DINING REVIEW: Amore Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar

We've had meals at Amore one time for lunch, one time for dinner. Both visits, the calamari was the best we've eaten. Prosecco was an out-and-out bargain. Second visit, we asked that our calamari be ready when we arrived and served as we were seated. It was. Service could not have been better. Executive chef, Russell Ferguson and his kitchen-charges, as well as floor and front staff, made our dining experience enjoyable, through-and-through. We'll return, adding Amore to our group of wonderful places to eat in Rochester.
