Robert Miller, professor of American Indian law at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, will present "The International Law of Colonialism: The Doctrine of Discovery” on Thursday, March 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the Hawkins-Carlson Room of Rush Rhees Library at the University of Rochester. Professor Miller is the author of three books: "Native America, Discovered and Conquered: Thomas Jefferson, Lewis & Clark, and Manifest Destiny;" "Discovering Indigenous Lands: The Doctrine of Discovery in the English Colonies;" and "Reservation 'Capitalism:' Economic Development in Indian Country." Free parking in the Library Lot.
