NYS Ombudsman Program at Lifespan needs volunteers to advocate, educate, and empower residents living in nursing homes and adult care facilities. Ombudsmen are trained volunteers who make weekly visits to assigned facilities and support older adults by resolving problems, protecting rights, preserving dignity, and ensuring respect. There is an extensive application process & cut off date is April 10th.
