Smith is an artist based in Columbus, Ohio whose multi-disciplinary research practice engages image-making, writing, performance, installation, and collaboration. She received her MFA from The Ohio State University and BA in Anthropology and Studio Art from Rice University. Her ongoing project Leave No Stone Unturned is invested in witnessing what is marked, lost, and lingers in the aftermath of death by examining the remnants of knowledge embedded within burial landscapes.
