Re: “West Edge falls short of its potential

I have been to West Edge for a variety of occasions ranging from casual lunches, celebratory drinks with friends and fantastic dinners multiple times since they've graced Cornhill.

My first issue lays with the pretentious tone of your review. To me, it resembles an attack... "but that's a story for another time". That's not your job as a newspaper or reviewer. Secondly, you should congratulate West Edge for being an anchor business of Cornhill Landing.

I love having lunch and drinks out on the patio next to the water. It's gorgeous with the skyline and the ambiance.

I will also caution the paper strongly about your mention of gentrification due to what the term implies. The whole replacement and ousting of lower income families and businesses and the process therein isn't something you should toss around casually or lightly make mention of while planting your flag in someone's risotto.
