Masterpieces of Polish film music will be performed by Dariusz Terefenko, Associate Professor at the Eastman School of Music, piano, 16-year-old Marysia Mikuła, piano, Paweł Szewczyk, vocal, and Bogdan Minikowicz, trumpet. The concert will feature music by Henryk Wars, Krzysztof Komeda, Jerzy “Duduś” Matuszkiewicz, Wojciech Kilar, and Andrzej Kurylewicz, among others, composed for most popular Polish films made during the inter-war period and after the WWII up to the present.
