Co-sponsored by the University of Rochester and the Rochester Institute of Technology, this program will feature a talk and book signing by Yale historian David Blight, whose new biography, "Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom," has just been released.
The evening will also include a musical component in honor of Douglass’s life and legacy. This event will include ASL interpreters and a ramp entrance.
Though no printed ticket is required, attendees are asked to register for a seat via Eventbrite. Seating is limited to 847 seats.
