Rochester City Council released draft legislation to the community that would create a Police Accountability Board. With the release of the document,the City Council promised the community that there would be opportunity for public review and comment.

The Council will host three public forums, one on the Eastside, one on the Westside and one in the Center City in an effort to make the forums more accessible for all residents. The forums will be from 5:30pm -7:00pm and advance sign up is not required.

The dates and locations are as follows:

January 23rd – Frederick Douglass R-Center – 999 South Avenue

January 28th – Danforth R-Center – 200 West Avenue

January 31st – City Hall Atrium – 30 Church Street
