Cynthia Roberts, violin Boel Gidholm, violin Daniel Elyar, viola Alissa Smith, viola Christopher Haritatos, cello Publick Musick will close its season with performances of two of Mozart's greatest masterpieces for chamber ensemble: the string quintets K. 515 in C Major and K. 614 in Eb Major. The addition of a second viola to the more common string quartet give these works a richness of texture and a variety of instrumentation that Mozart delighted in exploiting to the fullest.
