Publick Musick (Andrus Madsen, fortepiano; Boel Gidholm, baroque violin; and Christopher Haritatos, baroque cello) performs a program celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, as well as looking ahead to his father Johann Sebastian's 330th birthday, coming up in 2015. Andrus will be performing on an early style of fortepiano similar to the ones CPE Bach owned. On the program will be a selection of intimate chamber music for keyboard and strings by both Bachs, including a cello suite and a violin/continuo sonata by JS, the famous f# minor Fantasia by CPE, and much more!
