In this Zoom presentation by Jasmine Mathoan, learn about the history of clothing from Punjab, India, and its significance as an expression of the culture’s proud heritage and joyful countenance. The phulkari, a large cloth embroidered with floral, geometric, and other designs, is an example of Punjabi handiwork. It can be worn as a shawl or used to decorate a home. Registration required.
