PUNK | 'Kaiser's Murray Christmas'

Kaiser Solzie is a local punk musician who's journeyed from homelessness to helping other punk musicians behind the scenes on various Warped Tours. Solzie now works directly with Person Centered Housing Options to help people in the Rochester community find suitable housing, and he's hosting a punk rock benefit show to raise funds for the organization. In addition to giveaways and Polaroids with Santa, attendees can enjoy live Christmas music from hardcore-punk trio On The Cinder, ska 6-piece Toy Box Brigade, and folk-punk quartet Cardboard Homestead from Buffalo, as well as local, high-energy punk band Lucky 33, pop-punk trio Stolen Bikes, and Americana duo Jaynie Crash and the Tall Men.

"Kaiser's Murray Christmas" benefit for PCHO will occur on Friday, December 14, 7 p.m. at Firehouse Saloon, 814 South Clinton Avenue. $10-$12. 319-3832.;
