The Rochester Association of Black Journalists will hold a social fundraising event to launch its "Rochester Legends" documentary and children's book series recognizing notable local African Americans. The 2017 honorees are Dr. David Anderson, Constance Mitchell and Dr. Walter Cooper. This event is a fundraiser for RABJ's children's book series as well as for its college scholarship; the children's books will be made available to area urban, suburban and rural school districts in the fall.
