The need for blood donors who are Black is urgent to help people with sickle cell disease, the most common genetic blood disease in the U.S. Sickle cell disease primarily affects those who are African American or of African descent and affected patients need regular blood transfusions.

Donors will receive a limited-edition Sickle Cell Fighter t-shirt, plus a sickle cell trait screening test.
