"Living at the corner of down and out," the vocal duo of Lynne Hanson and Lynn Miles – The Lynnes – has a twin-harmony approach that only adds to the music's minor-key ache. The title track of the dynamic duo's new album "Heartbreak Song for the Radio" easily sums it up with its "Got lemons? Make lemonade" approach. With an Everly Brothers-esque harmonic stance mixed with several shovels full of good ol' Americana grit. The Lyness rock the house using minimal instrumentation, lyrical insight, and maximum giddy-up-and-go.

Golden Link Folk Singing Society presents The Lynnes Saturday, January 19, 7:30 p.m. at Rochester Christian Reformed Church,2750 Atlantic Avenue in Penfield. $10-$22; free for children 12 and under. 857-9265.;
