This year’s educational course explores how composers adopt and adapt the sounds and rhythms of folk music into their works. Participants will hear and discuss authentic folk music from Austria, India, Eastern Europe, and America, as well as the folk-inspired music of Haydn, Schubert, Reena Esmail, and Dvořák, all through live performances by Festival artists.
