Historic Harris Hill Gliderport will host The Soaring Society of America Region 3 and the East Coast Junior Contest. As the 90th anniversary of soaring in Elmira approaches Harris Hill Gliderport will be the site where nearly 50 soaring aircraft/ gliders will launch daily to compete in tasks from 200 to 500 miles. Glider rides will be available to the public on a limited basis days of the competition after launches and before the contestants return. Glider rides are available to the public all summer long June 21 to Sept. 2.
