The City of Rochester is planning a pilot project on Universal Basic Income. Other municipalities and entities have sponsored similar programs. Panel members include the Rev. Dr. Richard S. Gilbert, Minister Emeritus of the First Unitarian Church; the Rev. Matthew Nickoloff of the South Wedge Mission; RIT Professor of Economics Amit Batabyal; and Joel Elliot, Director of Development and Communication, St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center. A Q&A period will follow the presentations. Mayor Malik Evans will be the featured speaker. Registration is required.
