Spaull will host new arts meeting

Following up on the December arts funding meeting held by the Arts & Cultural Council of Greater Rochester and members of City Council, Councilmember Elaine Spaull will host another public meeting on the topic on Wednesday, January 16.

The meeting, which will take place at 4 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall, is open to all arts organizations and individual artists who would like to attend and continue the discussions sparked at the last meeting, Spaull says.

Participants at this week’s meeting will review the shared goals expressed by a variety of members of the arts community, Spaull said in a press release. “Those who attended the December meeting were offered the opportunity to continue to be involved,” she said. “However, others are always welcome to attend.”

Questions can be directed to Tamu Brown-Hutchinson at Tamu.Brown-Hutchinson@CityofRochester.Gov or by calling 428-7538.
