SPECIAL EVENT | Dachshund Parade 

The 18th Annual Rochester Dachshund Parade will give your lengthy pups a chance to stretch, sniff, and play in the park. This year's theme is 'Dachshund: A Dog for All Seasons?' In addition to a multitude of long bois and girls, the parade features info booths from veterinary services. Dachshund-themed merchandise will be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds going to Rochester Hope for Pets and the Verona Street Animal Society. And yes, Dave's Sidewalk Cafe will be on hand so you can get a hotdog at the wiener parade.

Saturday, May 11, 10 a.m. to noon. Washington Square Park, 181 South Clinton Avenue Registration is $1 per dog (dachshunds only) and it's free to attend. dachshundparade.com.
