SPECIAL EVENT | Ladies Skate Night anniversary 

The first Ladies Skate Night, hosted at Breaking Free Skatepark, was founded in March of 2017 in order to provide a judgement-free zone for women of all ages who want to learn to skate in peace. The women-only night has continued on the third Monday of each month, and a one year anniversary celebration will be held this week featuring free admission; free rental of skateboards, helmets, bikes, and scooters; free pizza, donuts, and coffee, and free giveaways from sponsors.

Ladies Skate Night anniversary celebration will be held Monday, March 19, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Breaking Free Skatepark (1044 University Avenue). Free. 271-7277; breakingfreeskatepark.com.
