SPECIAL EVENT | Happiest Hour: Space Cadet Camp 

Calling all space cadets: Report for training, dancing, and a sci-fi costume contest at The Strong's next event in its popular Happiest Hour series for ages 21 and up. "Happiest Hour: Join Me, Human, for Space Cadet Camp" is an after-hours event filled with lightsabers, arcade games, access to the "Rockets, Robots, and Ray Guns" exhibit, snacks, and a cash bar. VIP packages ($150) include four tickets to the Happiest Hour, a private table, concierge food service, 40 game tokens, and four tickets to the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden. All proceeds support The Strong's educational mission and community outreach programs.

Space Cadet Camp takes place at The Strong, One Manhattan Square, on Wednesday, August 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance. These events often sell out, so early purchase is recommended. 263-2700; museumofplay.org.
