Morton Gould’s Tap Dance Concerto premiered in Rochester in 1952. For the 70th anniversary, dancer Cheryl Johnson recreates this monumental work to showcase the classical side of her tap-dancing career, accompanied by Dr. Gary Palmer on piano. The program also includes Cheryl dancing to a selection of classical music for children by Béla Bartók, Robert Schumann, and others, performed live by Paula Bobb on toy piano. Details
