Commissioned by the Telos Trio from composer Cary Ratcliff in 2019, "Fresh Wind for Our Sails" is a colorful, evocative, and engaging composition inspired by a century of peace and justice work in Rochester. The program also includes Gwyneth Walker’s "Equality Now!" (with guest reader Sandra Boysen Sluberski), which traces the beginning of the women’s movement in Seneca Falls; Miguel del Aguila’s "Disagree;" and Alex Shapiro’s "Desert Thoughts."
