No, what is offensive is the lack of vision and results that our current Mayor, Lovely Warren, has given us. Ms. Warren's administration is akin to the fictional world of Springfield with Mayor Quimby and Chief Wiggam. Corrupt and inept respectively.
Perhaps Mr. Sheppard can do something to stem the violence and apathy which has plagued our city for too long. If you were a business would you want to relocate to the City of Rochester? I think not.
And, in regards to Ms. Barnhart, the city does not need another name-calling, immature Mayor after we have already had one.
Let a professional, experienced individual try his hand at this city. What's the worse that can be done? We've already suffered through incompetence the past few years.

I don't know if you remember the story but the 'Angelic' Rachel once tweeted nasty comments about a coffee shop owner who didn't have his shop open during a snowstorm when she needed coffee. That's what I meant about the 'name calling'. Yes, perhaps it wasn't explicitly 'name calling' (I forget the actual) but it is no way for a public personality to treat others. We have enough of that type of unprofessional and civilized behavior in the White House now and in the near future.
