An award-winning psychological thriller written and directed by Rochester, N.Y., native Devin Lawrence will have a sneak peek screening. "Sympathy, Said The Shark" won the Audience Award at the Portland (Oregon) Film Festival. The plot begins with a young couple who reluctantly answer their door during a storm, and in rushes an estranged, soaked and bloodied friend who insists that someone is trying to kill him. Following the film will be a talk-back with Lawrence and producer Matthew Mourgides, also a Rochester native, and socializing.
