Capoeira is a 600+ year-old Afro-Brazilian art that blurs the line between martial art and dance. Instructor Chris Thompson leads this two-part event, which will explore the history of capoeira, its key elements, and how it has influenced the world. Each night will finish with some movement, which may require 5 to 6 feet of space to move around.
This event is part of Henrietta Public Library's series, "In This Moment: Revolution Reckoning Reparation."
