The Blue Flames play dancer-friendly blues, R&B, swing and other styles encouraging west coast swing. The band is composed of seasoned musicians who have been playing in the Ithaca scene for decades: Alex Specker (of the Pelotones) on lead guitar/vocals, Mike Wellen behind the drums, Chris Gibbons on bass/vocals, Ken Zeserson (of Radio London and The Yardvarks) on tenor sax/vocals and centerpiece Don Karr on Hammond B3 organ and “Ray Charles” vocals. https://www.facebook.com/events/525316647959964/
