Just as the Stonewall riot created waves of change for LGBTQ+ communities throughout the country, the LGBTQ+ Deaf community has experienced changes as well. This event includes a screening of a short film that features interviews and stories from Deaf LGBTQ+ National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) alumni from the 1960s-1980s.
Bryan Lloyd is a Deaf native Rochesterian (Rochester, NY) who realized he was gay after meeting his first love, Jeff, when he was 17 years old. For 18 years, he has been an advisor for Queer club for GLBT students, Deaf Queer Alliance (DQA).
