This powerful film is the true story of Elle editor Jean-Dominique Bauby who suffers a stroke and has to live with an almost totally paralyzed body. This film will be presented by Emily Murdock, a second year film student from Canandaigua Academy. Emily is a full IB candidate, president of the Canandaigua Academy Film society (a position held for two years), and a full member of Women’s Chorus. She has also received certification from SAFETALK- an anti-suicidal organization that helps individuals with depression or any other mental illnesses. She plans to study Psychology in college, but also hopes to continue her education in film
