The Frog Pond

The Frog Pond (sometimes still referred to as Charlie’s Frog Pond) has been holding it down near the corner of Park and Berkeley since 1975, a funky little haven for lovers of all things breakfast. That’s not to slight the Frog Pond’s other meals, which consist of salads, burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, plus dinner faves like meatloaf and the Thursday turkey dinner special. But in the morning you’ll find such things as three-egg omelets, frittatas, various Benedicts, breakfast burritos, and the Frog Pond’s famous sautéed banana pancakes with housemade caramel.
