Join us to learn about the history of leather and the tanning of the hide! We'll take a hands on look at the multiple layers, names, descriptions and properties of all different types of leather as well as discuss why certain leathers are used for specific functions. A live demonstration of some basic techniques, tools and tool functions will give you a glimpse into making leather goods.
