The program begins with A Tribute to the Armed Services, a medley of the “Hymns” for the five branches of the U.S. Military Forces. We then continue with musical reflections on the emotional cost of war, in works such as Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ye, I’m Goin’ Away, The Blue and the Gray, and In Flanders Fields. The second half focuses on the hope for peace and a better world with works such as Inscription of Hope, I Dream a World, and Freedom Trilogy. Please join us for this moving and inspirational concert.
